Abstract: International audience ; The aim of the MultiTraiNMT Erasmus+ project is to develop an open innovative syllabus in neural machine translation (NMT) for language learners and translators as multilingual citizens. Machine translation is seen as a resource that can provide support for citizens when trying to acquire and develop language skills, provided they are given informed and critical training. Machine translation would thus help tackle the mismatch between the EU aim of having multilingual citizens who speak at least two foreign languages and the current situation in which citizens generally fall far short of this objective. The training materials consist of an open-access coursebook, an open-source NMT web application called MutNMT for training purposes and corresponding activities. ; L'objectif du projet Erasmus+ MultiTraiNMT est de développer un programme de cours ouvert et innovant en traduction automatique neuronale (TAN) pour favoriser le multilinguisme de nos citoyens européens, qu'ils soient apprenants en langues ou (apprentis) traducteurs. La traduction automatique est considérée comme une ressource qui peut aider les citoyens à acquérir et à développer des compétences linguistiques, à condition qu'ils reçoivent une formation informée et critique. Elle permettrait ainsi de réduire l'écart actuellement observable entre l'objectif de l'UE de disposer de citoyens multilingues parlant au moins deux langues étrangères et la situation actuelle dans laquelle nos concitoyens sont généralement loin d'atteindre cet objectif. Le matériel de formation se compose d'un manuel de cours en accès libre, d'une application web ouverte pour la prise en main et l'entraînement de moteurs de TAN appelée MutNMT et d'un ensemble d'activités correspondantes.
