Abstract:
فذلكة : إنّ مقالة "مؤرّخ يرصد استهانة المستشرقين الألمان بمكانة اللغة العربية" تفتح سلسة كاملة من المقالات في هذا الصدد. قد صدرت سلسلة "استهانة المستشرقين الألمان باللغة العربية وإهمالهم لها كلغة حديثة للعلم والتواصل" في صحيفة هسبريس الإلكترونية المغربية. إنّ الإطار التربوي المتقاعد رمضان مصباح الإدريسي من المملكة المغربية يقدّم للمقالة معّرفاً المؤلّف فريدهيلم هوفمان على القرّاء العرب ومعلناً أنّه لم يتصرّف في المتن العربي الأصلي كي يعرف القرّاء "درجة تمكن الرجل من لغة شاقة التعلم حتى على الناطقين بها", هكذا رمضان مصباح الإدريسي. أمّا هوفمان فيرجو من القارئ العربي عدم المؤاخذة على عثرات قلمه أوّلاً, ثمّ يباشر موضوع المقالة مباشرة, أي محاولة شرح الأسباب التي أسفرت عن إجادة اللغة العربية الضعيفة عند المستشرقين وخبراء الشرق الأوسط الألمان, خاصّة السؤال لماذا لا يتقنون العربية إتقاناً فعّالاً وخلّاقاً. يعتبر هوفمان تأثير المخابرات المفسِد مصدر هذا الضعف الرئيسَ, أي في حالة ألمانيا التأثيرالسلبي للمخابرات الخارجية الألمانية المسمّاة ﺑ"الاستخبارات الاتّحادية الألمانية" على العلوم التخصّصية داعماً أطروحته بثلاثة أمثلة واضحة كلّ الوضوح. وتعود هذه الأمثلة "النموذجية" إلى وسائل الإعلام والممارسة الجامعية أو بالأحرى إلى (1) كلّية الدفاع لحلف الناتو الواقعة في روما وإلى (2) معهد العلوم السياسية التابع لجامعة توبينغين على اتّصال بمركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط المعاصر التابع لجامعة جنوب الدنمارك والواقع هو في مدينة أودنسه وإلى (3) مركز لايبنتس للشرق الحديث الواقع في برلين. إنّ هذه الأمثلة كلّها تشترك في نفس الإهمال والاستهانة تجاه اللغة العربية اللّذينِ تتّصف بهما الدراسات الاستشراقية وباقي الدراسات المتخصّصة في شؤون البلدان العربية الجارية في الجامعات ومعاهد البحث الغربية عموماً والألمانية على وجه الخصوص ; Der Artikel "Muʾarriḫ yarṣud istihānat al-mustašriqīn al-almān bi-makānat al-luġa al-ʿarabīya" [Historiker registriert die mangelnde Wertschätzung der deutschen Orientalisten für die Bedeutung der arabischen Sprache] eröffnet eine ganze Artikelserie zum Thema. Ursprünglich erschien die Artikelserie "Istihānat al-mustašriqīn al-almān biʾl-luġa al-ʿarabīya wa-ihmāluhum lahā ka-luġa ḥadīṯa li-l-ʿilm waʾt-tawāṣul" [Die Geringschätzung und Vernachlässigung der arabischen Sprache als moderne Wissenschafts- und Kommunikationssprache durch die deutschen Orientalisten] in der marokkanischen Internetzeitung "Hisbrīs / Hespress". Eingeleitet wird dieser erste Artikel der Serie durch ein Vorwort des pensionierten marokkanischen Schulinspektors, Bloggers und Rezensenten Mesbah Ramdane Idrissi, in welchem dieser den Verfasser Friedhelm Hoffmann dem arabischen Publikum vorstellt und erklärt, dass er bewusst nicht in den arabischen Text eingegriffen und die eine oder andere sprachliche Holperpartie geglättet habe, damit der arabische Leser sich selber ein Bild von Hoffmanns arabischem Sprachniveau machen könne. Hoffmann bittet seinerseits den arabischen Leser um Nachsicht wegen allfälliger sprachlicher Unzulänglichkeiten, um dann direkt ins Thema einzusteigen, nämlich dem Versuch, zu erklären, was die Ursache für die dürftigen Arabischkenntnisse deutscher Orientalisten und Nahostexperten ist, insbesondere, warum sie die Sprache nicht aktiv beherrschen. Nachdem er die Hauptquelle hierfür im korrumpierenden Einfluss der Geheimdienste, im Falle Deutschlands also insbesondere des Bundesnachrichtendienstes (BND), des deutschen Auslandsgeheimdienstes, auf die Fachwissenschaft ausgemacht hat, untermauert Hoffmann seine These mit drei eindrücklichen Beispielen aus den Medien und der universitären Praxis. Die drei Beispielgeschichten trugen sich am NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rom, am Institut für Politikwissenschaft (IfP) der Universität Tübingen in Verbindung mit dem Centre for Contemporary Middle East Studies der University of Southern Denmark (Odense) sowie am Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient in Berlin zu. Gemeinsam ist ihnen die Vernachlässigung und Geringschätzung des Arabischen in der westlichen, insbesondere deutschen, Forschungspraxis und Nahostexpertise. ; The article "Muʾarrikh yarṣud istihānat al-mustashriqīn al-almān bi-makānat al-lughah al-ʿarabiyyah" [Historian Observes the German Orientalists' Disregard for the Significance of the Arabic Language] begins an entire series of articles on the subject concerned. Originally, the series "Istihānat al-mustashriqīn al-almān biʾl-lughah al-ʿarabiyyah wa-ihmāluhum lahā ka-lughah ḥadīthah li-l-ʿilm waʾl-tawāṣul" [The Contempt and Neglect of the Arabic Language as Modern Language of Science and Communication by the German Orientalists] appeared in the Moroccan online newspaper "Hisbrīs / Hespress". This first article of the series is prefaced by the retired Moroccan school inspector, blogger and reviewer Mesbah Ramdane Idrissi. Idrissi introduces the author Friedhelm Hoffmann to the Arab public, stating that he, on purpose, did not interfere with the Arabic text by polishing clumsy phrases so that the Arab reader himself might discern Hoffmann's command of the Arabic language. Hoffmann, on his part, opens the article apologizing to the Arab reader for language mistakes where they occur, to continue directly with the topic, i.e. the attempt to explain the cause for the weak Arabic language skills widespread among German orientalists and Middle East experts, in particular, why they do not master the language in an active way. After retrieving the main source for this deficiency in the corrupting impact of the intelligence agencies, in the case of Germany, the Federal Intelligence Service (the "Bundesnachrichtendienst" or "BND" in German), the German foreign intelligence agency, on the respective scientific research, Hoffmann backs up his thesis with three striking examples taken from the media and academic practice. The three exemplary stories took place in the NATO Defense College (NDC) in Rome, in the Institute of Political Science ("Institut für Politikwissenschaft" IfP) of Tübingen University in conjunction with the Centre for Contemporary Middle East Studies of the University of Southern Denmark (Odense) as well as in the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient in Berlin. Common to all was the neglect and disdain of the Arabic language in the western, especially German, research practice and expertise on the Middle East.
