Per això, recorrerem als personatges de ficció -protagonistes i intèrprets- de tres pel·lícules: “La niña de tus ojos” (Trueba 1998), pel que fa a la tècnica d’interpretació bilateral, “La intérprete” (Pollack 2005), pel que fa a la simultània i “La quise tanto” (Breitman 2009), pel que fa a la consecutiva. ; In this paper we analyse the figure of the interpreter-character in cinema from the lenses of interpreting typology, the interpreter’s seriousness in recreating their work, and their professionalism in the face of the communicative situations in which the figure of a linguistic and cultural mediator is required. With that purpose, we look into the leading roles and interpreters from three fictional films: “La niña de tus ojos” (Trueba 1998) for liaison interpreting, “The Interpreter” (Pollack 2005) for simultaneous interpreting, and “Je l’aimais” (Breitman 2009) for consecutive interpreting. ; El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la figura del personaje-intérprete en el cine, desde el punto de vista de la tipología de la interpretación, la seriedad del intérprete a la hora de recrear su trabajo y la profesionalidad del mismo en las diversas situaciones comunicativas en las que se hace necesaria la figura de un mediador lingüístico y cultural. Para ello, echaremos mano de los personajes de ficción –protagonistas e intérpretes– de tres películas: “La niña de tus ojos” (Trueba 1998), para la técnica de interpretación bilateral, “La intérprete” (Pollack 2005), para la simultánea y La quise tanto (Breitman 2009), para la consecutiva.
