ISSN 2237-759X; v. 45 (2020): Tecnologias, mídias e EaD na era global-digital ; 2237-759X ; 1413-4055 (2020) Abstract: This article aims at presenting the main contents accessed by high school students via smartphones during lunch break. The references that support this study are Silva (2002), Santaella (2007; 2013), Lemke (2010), Menezes de Souza (2011) and Lankshear Knobel (2016). This is a qualitative research, with the application of online questionnaires with students enrolled in the 1st year of technical courses integrated to High school, in 2019, at the Federal Institute of Sergipe, São Cristóvão campus. The results point out topics that arouse the interest of adolescents, presenting relevant information for discussion in the educational and other social spheres. ; Este artigo objetiva apresentar um levantamento dos principais conteúdos produzidos e acessados por estudantes do ensino médio, via smartphones, nos momentos de intervalo escolar. Os referenciais que embasam este estudo são Silva (2002), Santaella (2007; 2013), Lemke (2010), Menezes de Souza (2011) e Lankshear e Knobel (2016). Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, com aplicação de questionários on-line com estudantes matriculados no 1º ano dos cursos técnicos integrados ao ensino médio, em 2019, no Instituto Federal de Sergipe, campus São Cristóvão. Os resultados apontam temas que despertam interesse dos adolescentes, apresentando informações relevantes para discussão no âmbito educacional e em outras esferas sociais.
