Abstract:
National audience ; Les premières étapes d'acquisition de la parole sont traditionnellement considérées comme dépendantes d'une co-structuration des représentations motrices et sensorielles - auditives, visuelles et somatosensorielles - des unités de parole. A partir des premières capacités motrices et de discrimination acoustique, la maturation du système phonologique de l'enfant découlerait de l'imprégnation linguistique ambiante et d'une spécification progressive et conjointe des actes moteurs et des cibles sensorielles pertinentes. Chez l'adulte, de nombreux modèles psycholinguistiques et neurobiologiques de la perception et/ou de la production de la parole appuient également l'idée d'un couplage fonctionnel entre systèmes sensoriels et moteur et ont pour point commun l'importance attribuée aux interactions sensorimotrices. Dans ces modèles, la production de parole impliquerait la mise en œuvre de mécanismes de contrôle moteur en ligne permettant d'évaluer les conséquences sensorielles prédites des actions planifiées en les comparant avec les retours sensoriels effectifs et, de là, de corriger et réguler si nécessaire la réalisation des unités produites. Lors de la perception de la parole, des mécanismes inférentiels de simulation motrice permettraient de déterminer, ou tout du moins de contraindre, l'interprétation phonétique des entrées sensorielles. En regard de ces modèles, l'étude conjointe et systématique des systèmes de perception et de production de la parole et des liens perceptivo-moteurs pourrait permettre de mieux comprendre le langage commun de la perception et de l'action dans la communication parlée. À terme, une meilleure compréhension de ce couplage fonctionnel entre systèmes sensoriels et moteur pourrait permettre d'envisager de nouvelles approches thérapeutiques prenant avantage de ces interactions perceptivo-motrices dans la réadaptation des troubles perceptifs et moteurs de la parole.
