Abstract:
Abstract The use of paremias in societies where the orality is still prevalent holds an important place. Besides the fact that paremias result from a transmission of an imaginary and representation of the world, shared and inherited. It is the use that is made of it that explains this importance. However, orality is already doing a great deal in the face of the transition to the writing, which is not without tension. The fact of being confronted in addition with so-called “diglossic” situations, originally from the colonial era and now a pillar of the postcolonial situation via the language policy implemented by the States, makes paremiological competence even more fragile. As is the case for the Somalis of Djibouti whom in less than a generation we observe such a situation, as emerges through an analysis within the framework of dialogism which allows to appreciate the situation.
