Abstract:
Fußball wird meist mit Männersport in Verbindung gebracht, weswegen der Frauenfußball als solcher sprachlich abgegrenzt wird. Dies führte in der Vergangenheit dazu, dass fußballspielende Frauen unter anderem in den Medien stereotypisiert wurden. In diesem Artikel zeige ich zunächst in einem einleitenden Kapitel die aktuelle Situation des deutschen Frauenfußballs auf. Im weiteren Verlauf werde ich in einer qualitativen Medienanalyse darstellen, wie die Berichterstattung über das deutsche Nationalteam sich seit Beginn der WM 2011 verändert hat. Dazu analysiere ich Onlineberichte der Magazine 11Freunde, Kicker und Spiegel zur EM 2013 und zur WM 2015. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf dem zeitlichen Vergleich. Die Analyse von Medienerzeugnissen ist deshalb so relevant, da die Medien dazu beitragen Geschlechterverhältnisse zu reproduzieren und damit eine soziale Realität zu schaffen. ; Football is usually associated with male sport, which is why women's football gets demarcated linguistically. In the past this led to the fact that women who played football were stereotyped in the media. In this article, in an introductory chapter I indicate the current situation of the German women's football. In the further course in a qualitative media analysis is shown how the coverage of the German national team has changed since the 2011 World Cup in Germany. For this purpose, I analyze online reports of the magazines 11Freunde, Kicker and Spiegel for the 2013 European Championship and the 2015 World Cup. The focus adresses a temporal comparison. As media contribute to reproduce gender relations and to create a social reality, the analysis of media products is very relevant.
