一所幼兒園之課程革新歷程與結果:生態主題課程之發展 ; The Process and Result of a Preschool’s Curriculum Reform: The Development of An Ecological Theme Curriculum
Abstract: 本研究旨在探討幼兒園從傳統分科課程轉型到統整性課程發展之情形,以高雄市某私立幼兒園為研究對象。主要探討的目的為:幼兒園從傳統分科課程轉型到統整性課程,並發展生態特色課程時,其中的轉變、所面臨的問題,以及最後的成效。本研究運用資料蒐集、教學輔導、座談、自然觀察及訪談收集資料。自然觀察法採不定期進班,隨機觀察幼兒園教學情形、教學的改變及對教師和幼兒學習的影響。訪談法則以半結構方式訪談園主任、組長、教師及家長,收集課程改革歷程中所遇到的困難及成效。研究結果顯示,園方及教師積極參與此研究,透過自我省思與批判,產生了思維和行動的改變。歷經一年的課程改革,教師自我專業及幼兒學習均有顯著改變,如此改變也獲得家長的肯定。針對研究結果,本研究歸納相關建議,提供學界與實務界參考,以便精化教師發展及園所的行政及管理。 ; This study aims to investigate the process of a preschool’s curriculum reform, which changes the curriculum tendency from traditional subject basis to theme basis. The preschool intends to develop ecological feature of the curriculum. The research participant is a preschool located in Kaohsiung city in Taiwan. The main research questions are: (1) what are the process of curriculum reform? (2) What are the problems faced by the school? (3) What are the result of the curriculum reform? The researcher used observation, interview, and document collection as the main data collection methods. Observations were mainly conducted in teachers ’ classrooms and teachers’ meeting conferences. Interview subjects included teachers, directors, parents, and the consulting professor. Interview questions were semi-structured, which mainly focused on participants’ thoughts and problems of the curriculum reform. The Analysis method was qualitative based. The results show that teachers’ thoughts and teachings have dramatic changes. Teachers' professional skills have been promoted, and children’s learning acuities have become diverse. In addition, these changes have won parents' supports and acknowledgements. Based upon the results, researcher provides suggestions for educators and preschool administrators who have interests in doing curriculum reforms.
