... : In recent decades, friendly relations have been established between Russia and China, which made it possible to establish economic partnership. In this respect, China needs experts who can speak Russian. More than 450 Chinese universities offer Russian majors. Scientists in China and Russia are very interested in teaching Russian as a foreign language, especially introducing new teaching methods. This article examines the problem of introducing a linguocultural approach to the process of teaching Russian to Chinese students. The authors propose to pay attention to the culturally-marked vocabulary, because the word is the basic unit of the language. The student must acquire not only linguistic knowledge, but also knowledge about the culture of the people – the native speaker. The culture of the people, its national peculiarity is reflected primarily in the word. From this point of view, non-equivalent, background and connotative vocabulary is considered. ...
