Codi: SBA032. Curs: 2019/2020 ; En el contexto de la atención sanitaria, una comunicación adecuada resulta imprescindible, en todos los sentidos. Es necesaria para conocer los síntomas de los pacientes, para tranquilizarlos, y de esta forma reducir la sensación de vulnerabilidad que conlleva acudir a un hospital, y para poder tratarlos. En consecuencia, y con el fin de asegurar una correcta atención al paciente, los sistemas sanitarios se encuentran ante la necesidad de proveer asistencia lingüística a todos aquellos pacientes que no dominen el idioma de dicho enclave. Una situación que se ha visto acentuada por la globalización y la gran movilidad de la población en los últimos años. Sin embargo, la falta de reconocimiento de los expertos en interpretación y mediación supone una barrera no solo en la consulta, sino también a la hora de acceder a estos recursos. Por este motivo en el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se ha estudiado, por una parte, la disponibilidad de estos recursos de asistencia lingüística en Klinik, el hospital de referencia en Tirol, donde se registran cifras significativas tanto de inmigración como de turismo, principalmente relacionado con los deportes de riesgo. Por otra parte se han estudiado las percepciones al respecto, por parte de sus profesionales. ; In healthcare context, it seems essential to have an adequate communication. It is necessary to know patient’s symptoms, to make them feel calm, so the vulnerability feeling of going to hospital would be reduced, and to treat them. Therefore, with the aim to provide a proper patient care, health systems have to facilitate linguistic assistance to those patients, who don’t master the local language. A situation that has been increased by globalization and population mobility in the last years. Nevertheless, the lack of interpreters and mediation recognition means an obstacle, not only for consultations, but as well to access the different resources. This is why with this Master Thesis it has been studied, on the one hand, the availability to these linguistic assistance resources in Klinik, Tirol’s referral hospital, where significant numbers regarding immigration and tourism are to be found, mainly related to extreme sports. On the other hand, health workers perceptions about this issue have also been studied.
