La documentación medieval del sur de Ávila y la variación interna del español : el corpus CODOMSA

Abstract:
El Corpus de Documentación Medieval del Sur de Ávila (CODOMSA), desarrollado por el Grupo de Estudios de Documentos Históricos y Textos Antiguos de la Universidad de Salamanca (GEDHYTAS), pretende servir de fuente de estudio para una de las zonas que marcan la transición entre el castellano septentrional y las variedades meridionales de la Península. Hasta el momento el corpus está integrado por más de 75 documentos anteriores a 1500 conservados en el Archivo Municipal de Mombeltrán (Ávila) y en el Archivo Histórico Municipal de Cuéllar (Segovia). Tras llevar a cabo una descripción del corpus, realizamos un análisis de algunos de los fenómenos lingüísticos más relevantes encontrados hasta la fecha, como la pérdida de /-s/ final, el ensordecimiento de las sibilantes, la neutralización de consonantes procedentes de grupos cultos latinos en posición implosiva o los desvíos en el sistema pronominal átono de 3.ª persona. ; The Corpus de Documentación Medieval del Sur de Ávila (CODOMSA), developed by the Group of Studies of Historical Documents and Old Texts of the University of Salamanca (GEDHYTAS), aims to serve as a study source for one of the areas that mark the transition between northern Castilian and the southern linguistic varieties of the Iberian Peninsula. Until now, CODOMSA is composed of more than 75 documents written before 1500 and preserved in the Municipal Archive of Mombeltrán (Ávila) and in the Historical Archive of Cuéllar (Segovia). After describing the corpus, we analyze some of the most relevant linguistic phenomena found to date, such as the loss of final /-s/, the desonorization of sibilants, the neutralization of consonants from Latin cult groups in implosive position or deviations in the unstressed pronominal system of 3rd person.
