Abstract:
У статті представлено публікацію Штатської М. Г., виховательки Львівської школи-інтернату № 3, в якій представлено досвід роботи щодо виховання у дітей таких моральних якостей, як чесність і правдивість. Особливу увагу зосереджено на умовах успіху виховання.Публікація за тогочасним правописом із збереженням усіх лексичних, фразеологічних і характерних морфологічних особливостей. Приверне увагу дослідників у галузях історії педагогіки та соціальної роботи, та усіх тих, кого хвилюють проблеми виховання дітей загалом і дітей-вихованців інтернатних закладів зокрема.In recent decades the number of children left without parental care for various reasons has increased in Ukraine. Forms of family care for such children are becoming increasingly important: family-type orphanages; foster, patronage and guardian families. However, the activity of residential care establishments does not lose its relevance.The system of state custody of orphaned children and children left without parental care (orphanages) has been functioning in Ukraine for about 10 years.It was created in Soviet times being focused on collective forms of child upbringing.Today we also need to solve the issue of moral qualities upbringing in pupils of boarding schools. In order to develop new ways of solving this problem, it is important to refer to the history of domestic practice.It must be emphasized that boarding schools have always played an important role in the development of pedagogical theory and practice. At the present stage, improvement of the boarding schools is possible only if the historical experience is studied. In this context, from the point of view of the history of pedagogy, the article of Shtatska M. (tutor of Lviv Boarding School № 3), published in 1962, should be taken into consideration.In the article the author talks about working on the upbringing of moral qualities, such as honesty and truthfulness, in children. The teacher notes that one of the preconditions for success in this case is the purposefulness and systematic nature of educational work with children.In the publication we submit an article of Shtatska M. G. in pursuance of that time, with the maintenance of all lexical, phraseological and characteristic morphological features. In our opinion, the found publication will attract the attention of researchers in the fields of history of pedagogy and social work, and all those who are concerned about the problems of children upbringing in general and children-upbringers of boarding schools in particular.
