Abstract: В статье рассматриваются особенности традиционных СМИ, которые стали очевидны в настоящий момент и определяют их дальнейшее развитие. Отмечается, что, несмотря на наличие у новых медиа ряда неоспоримых преимуществ, традиционные СМИ выигрывают в другом, и поэтому их развитие является весьма перспективным. В частности, среди позитивных качеств новых медиа выделяются технологичность, интерактивность, мультимедийность, доступность, мобильность, гипертекстуальность. А среди противостоящих им качеств традиционных медиа в статье названы тщательность подготовки публикации, объективность и точность информации, меньшая субъективность автора, воспитательная составляющая, отсутствие сниженной лексики и др. Делается вывод о том, что традиционные СМИ способны на данном этапе развития информационного пространства составить конкуренцию новым медиа. ... : The article examines features of traditional media, which have become apparent at the moment and determine their further development. It is noted that despite the fact that new media have a number of undeniable advantages, traditional media outperform others, and therefore their development is very promising. In particular, technological effectiveness, interactivity, multimedia, accessibility, mobility, and hypertextuality stand out among the positive qualities of new media. And among the qualities of traditional media opposing them, the article names the thoroughness of the preparation of the publication, the objectivity and accuracy of the information, the lower subjectivity of the author, the educational component, the absence of stylistic lowered vocabulary, etc. It is concluded that traditional media are capable of competing with new media at this stage of information space development. ...
