Emprunts et équivalents : étude de leurs diffusions respectives dans plusieurs langues ...
Abstract: La manifestation de la mondialisation dans le lexique de plusieurs langues mérite d’être étudiée. Un projet en ce sens a été lancé à l’automne 2011 et porte actuellement sur le français, le grec, le polonais et le tchèque. Ce projet relève de nouveaux emprunts effectués par une seule ou par plusieurs langues du groupe constitué (et combien et lesquelles), avec le moment où ils apparaissent (simultanément ou avec un décalage temporel, leurs parcours : voie directe ou par le biais d’autres langues que celle d’origine…), les éventuels équivalents créés dans telle ou telle langue pour les concurrencer, ainsi que les familles dérivationnelles qui peuvent apparaître. Cette recherche s’inscrit dans la suite d’un premier travail exposé au congrès LTT de Lisbonne en 2009 et paru en 2011 : dire que on line est emprunté en grec comme en français reste insuffisant, si on ne dit pas aussi que le calque en ligne est dix fois plus employé (d’après les archives de Libération et le nombre de pages donné par des moteurs de ... : Globalisation makes an impact on the lexicon of all modern languages and the way in which this occurs deserves closer study. To explore one aspect of this topic, a project was undertaken in the autumn of 2011 in view to studying loans and their equivalents in French, Greek, Polish and Czech. The aim is to examine new loans in one or more of the languages of the group. Firstly the number of languages concerned is determined (how many languages are concerned, and which of them) and just when they first appear, which may be simultaneously or only after a certain lapse of time. Then their vector is determined to ascertain whether are they adopted directly or through another language, as well as the native-language equivalents which may be created in one or other of the languages to compete with the loanword. Finally all the derivations which it may spawn are taken into consideration.
