Abstract: The present research attempts to study the efficacy of Parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) in dealing with the behavior and language problem due to behavioral disturbances in young children more than usual treatments. Objective: To determine the efficacy of parent-based intervention Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), dealing with the behavior and language problem. Methods The study was done on a sample of 50 children ages 3 to 7year. Analysis was done by using T-test. Results: Result shows the clear cut difference between both of the techniques efficacy. PCIT scores are significantly higher than regular speech therapy sessions (RSTS). This clearly depicts the efficacy of PCIT. ...
