Abstract:
Citizenship and naturalization tests have been around for more than a century. Knowing their justification and their international importance implies their own review. This article begins by defining its main characteristics, focusing on their two main components: language and culture. The diff erence in levels of competence in the common European Reference Framework is especially relevant. Right after, we look at the different exams in different countries. A significant part of the work is directed towards the use of technology in the evaluation and preparation of exams emphasizing its benefits and difficulties. Additionally, the paper also highlights the opportunity at this time for its implementation on the network despite current academic and social problems. ; Los exámenes de naturalización y ciudadanía han existido desde hace más de un siglo. Conocer su justificación y su importancia internacional implica la revisión de los mismos. Este artículo comienza por definir sus características principales incidiendo en sus dos componentes: lengua y cultura. Es especialmente relevante la diferencia de niveles de la competencia en el Marco de Referencia Común Europeo. Posteriormente, miramos a los distintos exámenes en distintos países. Una parte significativa del trabajo se dirige hacia el uso de la tecnología en la evaluación y preparación de los exámenes enfatizando sus beneficios y dificultades. También se pone de relieve la oportunidad en este momento para su implementación en la red a pesar de los problemas académicos y sociales actuales.
