Abstract:
Die BACH Bildungs- und Berufsberatung bietet seit Juni 2012 in Niederösterreich mehrsprachige Beratung in Arabisch, Dari/Farsi, Russisch, Ukrainisch und Polnisch an. Bildungs- und Berufsberatung für Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund in ihrer Erstsprache – darunter auch viele Hochqualifizierte – braucht in der Regel mehr Zeit, sie umfasst einen längeren Beratungsprozess mit mehreren Terminen und intensiverer Unterstützung. Für die BildungsberaterInnen bedeutet dies ein hohes Maß an Anforderungen: Sie sollen über die Kulturen, Sprachen, Bildungssysteme und Berufswelten der verschiedenen Gesellschaften Bescheid wissen und dabei ihre eigentliche Agenda im Auge behalten. Der vorliegende Beitrag umreißt kurz Anliegen, aber auch Herausforderungen dieses Angebots. (DIPF/Orig.) ... : Since June 2012, BACH Lifelong Guidance has offered multilingual counselling in Arabic, Dari/Farsi, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. Providing lifelong guidance for migrants – many of whom are highly qualified - in their first language normally takes more time and includes a longer counselling process with several meetings and more intensive support. This places great demands on lifelong guidance counsellors: they should know about the cultures, languages, educational systems and the world of work of the different societies while keeping their focus on their own agenda.
