Abstract:
Normative data of children (3;0-5;11 years) with Speech-Sound Disorder/SSD (n=300) and typically-developing/TD children (n=300) are getting collected with German digital Intelligibility in Context Scale (ICS-Digital) to determine an optimal cut-off score that differentiates children with SSD from those without. Data from 50 children are collected from each group (SSD, TD) per half-year of life. Also, the ICS-Digital will be proved for psychometric properties. Further, the influence of limited intelligibility on the child's communicative participation in everyday life and its communication attitude will be examined. Therefore, the following assessments are used: Demographic questionnaire (including Winklers social class index; Winkler & Stolzenberg, 1999), ICS-G (McLeod, Harrison, & McCormack, 2012), PLAKSS-II & PLAKSS-II Screening (Fox-Boyer, 2014), FOCUS©-G-34 (Thomas-Stonell, Oddson, Robertson, Walker, & Rosenbaum, 2018), KiddyCAT©-G (Vanryckeghem & Brutten, 2012) and Intelligibility ...
