Abstract: SK translates a Baptist sermon into Lacandón. The event was semi-elicited, in that the the minister and SK were asked to perform this event at some point during the service. Others present during the recording were Tzeltal parishioners (approx. 15) and some Lacandónes (approx. 6). Only part of the event was video-taped. The entire event is recorded on 1/4" audio tape.
