Abstract:
Desde el ingreso de las Repúblicas Bálticas en la Unión Europea en 2004, el interés de sus ciudadanos por la lengua española no ha dejado de aumentar. En las principales ciudades de Lituania, por ejemplo, el español se ha convertido en la segunda lengua extranjera en educación secundaria, proliferando también su estudio en universidades y escuelas de idiomas. Este significativo aumento de aprendientes de español requiere de estudios específicos que describan el proceso de aprendizaje y los componentes lingüísticos de más difícil adquisición para los alumnos lituanos. El presente trabajo describe y analiza las desviaciones fonéticas y ortográficas de 88 hablantes nativos de lengua lituana repartidos a lo largo de los seis niveles del MCER a través de un corpus de 33.206 producciones orales y 24.771 escritas, obtenido con la aplicación de pruebas basadas en el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes para cada uno de los niveles. Los resultados han revelado el alto impacto de la lengua escrita en los errores de pronunciación, ya que la disimetría de los alfabetos lituano y español en la representación de diversos fonemas resulta un factor clave en los errores ortográficos y fonéticos. ; Since the Baltic republics joined the European Union in 2004, their citizens have shown an increasing interest in learning Spanish. In the main cities of Lithuania, for example, Spanish has become the second largest foreign language in secondary education and its study in universities and language schools has proliferated. This significant increase in Spanish learners requires specific studies that describe their learning process and the most difficult linguistic components for Lithuanian students to acquire. The present study describes and analyses the phonetic and spelling deviations in Spanish of 88 native speakers of the Lithuanian language distributed throughout the six levels of the CEFR. The corpus of 33,206 oral and 24,771 written productions was obtained through the application of tests based on the Curricular Plan of the Instituto Cervantes for each of the levels. Results have revealed the high impact of written language on pronunciation mistakes, as the dissymmetry between the Lithuanian and Spanish alphabets in the representation of various phonemes has proved to be a key factor in spelling and phonetic errors.
