Or: How do deaf people topicalize a patient and diminish the agent's value? Would there be, in the data observed, a change in the syntactic functions of the arguments, in which the patient would assume the function of subject? Our theoretical framework was the functional-typological one, which considers language as a means of communication and social interaction. Our methodological path had the collaboration of deaf people proficient in Libras. As a result, we found that there is no specific morphosyntactic form of passive voice in Libras, but there are possible ways to topicalize the patient from (pro)typically transitive constructions. ; Nuestra pregunta principal fue: Estructuralmente, ¿hay una voz pasiva en Libras? O: ¿Cómo los sordos topicalizan a un paciente y disminuyen el valor del agente? ¿Habría, en los datos observados, un cambio en las funciones sintácticas de los argumentos, en los que el paciente asumiría la función de sujeto? Nuestro marco teórico fue el funcional-tipológico, que considera la lengua como medio de comunicación e interacción social. Nuestro camino metodológico contó con la colaboración de personas sordas con dominio de Libras. Como resultado, encontramos que no existe una forma morfosintáctica específica de voz pasiva en Libra, pero hay formas posibles de topicalizar al paciente a partir de construcciones (pro)típicamente transitivas. ; Nossa pergunta principal era: Estruturalmente, existe voz passiva em Libras? Ou ainda: Como os surdos topicalizam um paciente e diminuem o valor do agente? Haveria, nos dados observados, mudança nas funções sintáticas dos argumentos, em que o paciente assumiria a função de sujeito? Nosso referencial teórico foi o funcional-tipológico, que considera a língua como meio de comunicação e interação social. Nosso percurso metodológico teve a colaboração de surdos proficientes em Libras. Como resultados, constatamos que não há uma forma morfossintática específica de voz passiva em Libras, mas há formas possíveis de topicalizar o paciente a partir de construções (pro)tipicamente transitivas.
