Abstract:
Η παρούσα διατριβή προσεγγίζει το φαινόμενο της υποκειμενικότητας στη γλώσσα από μια κοινωνιογλωσσική, υπό την ευρεία έννοια, οπτική. Με αφετηρία την ελλιπή διερεύνηση του φαινομένου στη γλωσσική χρήση και την αποκλειστική ταύτισή του με μεμονωμένους ενδείκτες, στόχος της έρευνας είναι να στοιχειοθετήσει εν πρώτοις τη σύμφυτη παρουσία της υποκειμενικότητας στον ανθρώπινο λόγο. Καθοριστική για τον σκοπό αυτό είναι η συμβολή της κοινωνιολογικής προσέγγισης του Goffman, η οποία επιτρέπει την υπαγωγή της υποκειμενικότητας στο γενικότερο φαινόμενο της αυτο-παρουσίασης. Σύμφωνα με αυτή την οπτική η υποκειμενικότητα αποτελεί μία όψη της έκφρασης των ατόμων ως κοινωνικών υποκειμένων και εγγενές χαρακτηριστικό της ομιλίας. Η απόδειξη της καθολικής παρουσίας της υποκειμενικότητας στη γλωσσική έκφραση διαμορφώνει και τον επιμέρους στόχο της παρούσας εργασίας, δηλαδή την αναζήτηση των παραγόντων που καθορίζουν την ειδικότερη εκδήλωσή της. Το ενδιαφέρον της έρευνας επικεντρώνεται στη σχολική διεπίδραση και πιο ... : The present study attempts to illuminate linguistic subjectivity from a sociolinguistic perspective, in the broad understanding of the term. Taking into account the inadequate exploration of subjectivity in linguistic reality but also the fact that its examination has been bound to particular linguistic categories, my aim is, first of all, to establish subjectivity’s ubiquitous presence in language. At this point Goffman’s sociological approach appears to be very useful; subsumed under the more general phenomenon of self-presentation, subjectivity in language is viewed as but one aspect of our expression as social subjects and inherent in discourse. The inevitable presence of subjectivity in every utterance shifts the focus of the research to the factors that derermine its specific manifestation.
