Abstract:
UIDB/03213/2020 UIDP/03213/2020 ; Este artigo reflete sobre duas grandes disciplinas da Linguística para identificar os limites e as confluências de seu escopo de atuação. De um lado, a chamada Linguística do Texto e do Discurso tem produzido um amplo trabalho de reflexão sobre as práticas linguísticas baseadas na produção e recepção de textos/discursos. De outro lado, a Linguística Aplicada tem investigado problemas socialmente relevantes relacionados às diversas formas de uso da linguagem. Em ambas, portanto, o objeto de análise é a língua em uso. Nesse sentido, este artigo pretende delinear fron- teiras e possíveis aproximações entre essas duas disciplinas, evidenciando como pesquisas linguís- ticas situadas em epistemologias de fronteira podem se apoiar em ambas, beneficiando-se de suas contribuições e igualmente contribuindo para um avanço recíproco. Para isso, este estudo apoiase principalmente nas reflexões de Coutinho (2019), Miranda (2010), Maingueneau (2005), Koch (2004), Bentes (2001), Moita Lopes (2009), Fabrício (2006), Celani (2004) e Rajagopalan (2003,2018). // This paper reflects on two complex disciplines of Linguistics to identify its limits and concurrences. On the one hand, the so-called Linguistics of Text and Discourse has produced wide-ranging reflections on linguistic practices based on the production and reception theory of texts and discourses. On the other hand, Applied Linguistics has investigated social issues related to the different forms of linguistic use. In both fields, the object of analysis is the language in use. This paper intends to outline possible boundaries as well as simultaneity between these two disciplines. The purpose is to show how linguistic researches situated in border epistemologies can rely on both trends, benefiting from their approaches while also contributing to a reciprocal advance. For this purpose, this study is based mainly on the reflections of Coutinho (2019), Miranda (2010), Maingueneau (2005), Koch (2004), Bentes (2001), Moita Lopes (2009), Fabrício (2006), Celani (2004) e Rajagopalan (2003, 2018). ; publishersversion ; published
