Abstract:
Neostasina siempreverde sp. nov. Figs 132−135, Map 3 Type material: Holotype: ♂, Cuba, Holguín, La Melba, Moa [20°39’N, 74°09’W], 24 September 1997, Sanchez leg. (MNHNCu). Paratypes: 1♂, same vial as holotype (MNHNCu); 1♂, Cuba, Guantanamo, Maisí, Sobana [20°14’N, 74°09’W], 1 April 1998, A. Sanchez leg. (MNHNCu). Etymology. The specific name is a noun taken from the Spanish language meaning “evergreen” and refers to the type of vegetation found in the type locality. Diagnosis. Males of N. siempreverde sp. nov. resemble those of N. iberia sp. nov. (Fig. 74) in the dRTA bifid (Fig. 134). They are distinguished from this species by the shape of the dRTA with one branch three times longer than wide and the other smaller and triangular in retrolateral view (Fig. 134).
