Abstract: This research was accepted in the 6th Asian Junior Linguists Conference (AJL) hosted by Sogang University, Seoul, South Korea. In the current approach, after reviewing the past literature on Bangla princess, I argued that epenthesis in the dialects conforms to the same underlying grammar that governs the Standard Bengali language. My attempts were to show that earlier schemes of epenthesis proposed for the loan or foreign words in Bengali can be utilised the same way in the epenthesis for the dialect words. ...
