Abstract:
Статтю присвячено визначенню соціопросодичних особливостей мовлення шотландців. Вивчення особливостей мовлення шотландців на просодичному рівні має значення, по-перше з огляду на поширення розвідок присвячених діалектному мовленню, а по-друге, через те, що шотландський варіант англійської мови, зокрема її просодичний рівень, і досі не дістав наукової кваліфікації. Відомо, що шотландська англійська сформувалася в результаті взаємодії гаельської та англійської мов. Самостійного вивчення регіонально маркованих, соціально детермінованих просодичних особливостей мовлення шотландців практично не існує. Мета пропонованого дослідження полягає у визначенні методом інструментально-фонетичного аналізу просодичних параметрів, які можуть слугувати маркерами мовлення шотландців північного регіону Шотландії. У зв’язку з тим, що процеси вирівнювання, змішування та перерозподілу діалектних форм активізується у великих містах, дослідження просодичних особливостей мовлення шотландців, які мешкають на півночі Шотландії є ... : The article is dedicated to defining socioprosodic peculiarities of the Scots` speech. The study of the Scots` speech on prosodic level is of importance firstly, from the point of view of expanding studies, dedicated to dialectal speech, and secondly, due to the fact, that Scottish variant of English, in particular its prosodic level hasn`t yet got scientific qualification. Scottish English is know to have been formed as the result of Gaelic and English correlation. Independent study of regionally marked socially determined prosodic peculiarities of the Scots` speech practically doesn`t exist. The aim of the present investigation lies in defining by instrumental phonetic analysis prosodic parameters, which can serve as markers of speech behavior of the representatives of the Northern region of Scotland.
