Abstract: This assessment has become the standard work for assessing linguistic development of this age-group. The research and writing was carried out principally by Adams, Crutchley and Hesketh, in equal proportions. Reeves and Cooke were consultants on the project contributing project design and statistical expertise (Reeves), and educational and speech therapy practice expertise (Cooke). Test materials are also part of this work.
