Sánchez Manzanares, Carmen. - : Classiques Garnier, 2017 Abstract: L’hypothèse de départ de cet article est que la diffusion des néologismes n’est pas liée à la correction linguistique de ceux-ci. C’est précisément la notion de correction qui a opéré sur la pratique lexicographique prescriptive, notamment dans les manuels typographiques des médias et dans les recommandations des diverses institutions consacrées à veiller au bon usage de la langue. Cependant, l’écart entre ce qui est usuel et ce qui est correct a conduit à l’acceptation de néologismes initialement désapprouvés par des institutions telles que la Real Academia Española (RAE). L’un de nos propos est de démontrer que c’est le type de néologisme qui détermine son acceptabilité dans la perspective normative, car les néologismes formels ne sont pas jugés de la même manière que les emprunts, indépendamment de leur diffusion. Pour notre travail nous utilisons le corpus de l’Observatori de Neologia de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra (OBNEO) et le dictionnaire des néologismes NEOMA (2016). ... : The hypothesis of this article is that the spread of neologisms is not linked to their linguistic correction. The concept of correction is precisely what has functioned in the prescriptive lexicographic practice, in some style handbooks used by several mass media and in the recommendations of the institutions devoted to advice about proper language use. However, an imbalance between what is usual and what is correct has led to accepting neologisms initially rejected by institutions such as the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE in Spanish). One of the aims of this article is to show that the type of neologism determines its acceptability from a normative point of view, as formal neologisms and borrowings are not equally assessed, regardless of their spread. In order to carry out our work, we will use the corpus from the Observatori de Neologia from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the dictionary of neologisms NEOMA (2016). ...
