	Abstract: 名古屋大学 ; 中京大学 ; Nagoya University ; Chukyo University ; 軽動詞『する』と連接して句動詞を形成する語（たとえば「研究する」における『研究』）は動詞的名詞，動名詞，サ変名詞等の名称で呼ばれる。動詞的名詞は，多くの場合「通常の名詞」として主語や目的語の位置に生起しうるが，例外も存在する（「?? 熱中がよい結果に結びついた」「?? 動転がおさまらない」「?? フィットを保証する」）。また，いわゆる「ナ形容詞」や副詞を兼務するものもある。本稿では，比較的生起頻度が高い動詞的名詞にみられる多範疇性の様態（「専用型」および「兼務型」諸類の分布）について，大規模コーパスを用いて行った調査の結果を報告する。また，調査結果をふまえ，日本語文法における「名詞的表現」一般の適切な分類法についての論考・提言を行う。 ; While most Japanese verbal nouns (VNs) can function as the head of a predicate complement (subject, object, etc.), some cannot but are used only as part of a phrasal verb. Also, some lexemes that can function as a VN can also function as an adjectival noun, an adverb, etc. We report the results of a corpus-based survey on the patterns of (mono- and) polycategoriality exhibited by frequently occurring lexemes that can function as VNs. Based on the results of the survey, we also make a proposal as to how the Japanese noun category is to be classified and taxonomized.
