In a first theoretical part, we offer a categorization of the factors that can be crucial to the nature of a give multicultural encounter, highlighting the important factor of the perception of cultural diversity. Moreover, we complete this theoretical exposition with the proposal of an analytical model designed for the discursive analysis of the representation of other cultural groups on the part of the members of a given cultural community. This work tries to answer the need of not only contributing with knowledge about the consequences of a social encounter among cultural groups, but also proposes an analytical model that allows that such theories can be applied to the practical field, and, after this application, get a kind of information that is relevant for both the identification and the solution of problems within an intergroup encounter situation. ; El presente trabajo desarrolla un enfoque lingüístico aplicado al campo de las relaciones interculturales. En un primer apartado, ofrecemos una breve descripción de los factores que pueden ser determinantes en la naturaleza de un encuentro pluricultural dado, haciendo especial hincapié en el factor de la percepción de la diversidad cultural. Asimismo, completamos esta exposición teórica con la propuesta de un modelo diseñado para el análisis discursivo de la representación de otros grupos culturales por parte de miembros de una comunidad cultural dada. Este trabajo intenta responder a la necesidad de no sólo seguir aportando conocimientos acerca de las consecuencias del encuentro social de grupo culturales, sino también de proponer un modelo analítico que permita aplicar dichas teorías al terreno práctico, y, tras dicha aplicación, obtener un tipo de información que sea de relevancia para identificar y solucionar posibles problemas en una situación de encuentro intergrupal real.
