Abstract:
As políticas educacionais para indígenas resultaram do protagonismo por autonomia e conhecimento da sociedade brasileira. A Faculdade Indígena Intercultural da Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso oferece desde 2001 licenciaturas específicas para indígenas. Na disciplina Direito e Legislação realizada em 2008 estudantes universitários de 12 etnias contextualizaram estudos com a comunidade sobre pluralismo jurídico. O mosaico intercultural possibilitou diálogos sobre Direito Ocidental, Indigenista e Indígena. Discutiram aspectos como institucionalização, Socioambientalismo e Antropologia Jurídica. Indagaram se os princípios do ensino superior contemplam os anseios para uma educação diferenciada, comunitária, específica, multilíngue e multicultural. Realmente acontece visibilidade jurídica na legislação brasileira? Produziram textos sobre problemáticas sociais, tolerância, saberes étnico-culturais e científicos possibilitando desmistificar o monismo estatal, as práticas de integração e assimilação. ; Education policies for Indians resulted from their bid for independence and knowledge of Brazilian society. The Intercultural Indigenous School at University of Mato Grosso has offered degrees specific to indigenous people since 2001. In Law and Legislation, a subject lectured in 2008, students of 12 ethnic groups contextualised studies with the community on legal pluralism. The Intercultural Mosaic Law dialogues discussed western, indigenous and Indian-related law. They addressed issues such as institutionalisation, socio-environmentalism and legal anthropology. They looked into whether the principles of higher education catered for the desire for a different, community-specific, multilingual and multicultural education. Is there really legal visibility in Brazilian legislation? They produced articles on social issues, toleran210 ce and scientific, ethnic and cultural knowledge thereby demystifying state monism and integration and assimilation practices.
