Abstract:
En català, l'imperatiu de segona persona del singular de les conjugacions II i III sol acabar en consonant perquè no presenta morf de temps. Però quan l'imperatiu va seguit d'un pronom feble el català central hi sol presentar una vocal neutra ([ə]) entre el verb i el clític. L'objectiu del treball és comprovar la vitalitat d'aquesta vocal, delimitar els contextos segmentals i morfològics on apareix i analitzar el fenomen a partir de les noves dades aportades. Es proposa una anàlisi morfològica del fenomen en el marc de la teoria de l'optimitat. La conclusió principal és que es tracta d'un fenomen molt viu que s'estén en uns casos i recula en altres. D'altra banda, proposem que la naturalesa del fenomen i la motivació de la seva aparició són essencialment morfològiques, a diferència del que la recerca havia interpretat fins ara. Aquest treball aporta dades que donen llum sobre el fenomen i obliguen a replantejar la recerca futura tenint en compte els factors morfològics en lloc de centrar l'atenció exclusivament en els factors segmentals. ; En catalán, el imperativo de segunda persona del singular de las conjugaciones II y III suele acabar en consonante porque no presenta morfo de tiempo. Pero cuando el imperativo va seguido de un pronombre átono, el catalán central suele presentar una vocal neutra ([ə]) entre el verbo y el clítico. El objetivo del trabajo es comprobar la vitalidad de esta vocal, delimitar los contextos segmentales y morfológicos donde aparece y analizar el fenómeno a partir de los nuevos datos aportados. Se propone un análisis morfológico del fenómeno en el marco de la teoría de la optimidad. La conclusión principal es que se trata de un fenómeno muy vivo que se extiende en unos casos y retrocede en otros. Por otro lado, proponemos que la naturaleza del fenómeno y la motivación de su aparición son esencialmente morfológicas, a diferencia de lo que la investigación había interpretado hasta ahora. Este trabajo aporta datos que echan luz sobre el fenómeno y obligan a replantear la investigación futura teniendo en cuenta los factores morfológicos en lugar de centrar la atención exclusivamente en los factores segmentales. ; In Catalan, the second person singular imperative of the IInd and IIIrd conjugations usually ends in a consonant because it does not present any tense morph. However, when the imperative is followed by an unstressed pronoun central Catalan usually presents a neutral vowel ([ə]) between the verb and the clitic. The aim of this study is to verify the vitality of this vowel, delimit the segmental and morphological contexts in which it appears and analyse the phenomenon based on the new provided data. We propose a morphological analysis of the phenomenon in the framework of Optimality Theory. The main conclusion is that it is a very common phenomenon which spreads out in some cases and goes backwards in others. Furthermore, we propose that the nature of the phenomenon and the motivation of its apparition are essentially morphological, as opposed to the interpretations done by the research so far. This work provides data that sheds light on the phenomenon and forces the research to set out again the future investigations considering the morphological factors instead of focalising in the segmental factors exclusively.
