Dabei wurden mittels Online- und Literaturrecherchen Forschungsarbeiten gesucht, welche das Lernverhalten der genannten Personengruppe in und außerhalb Japans bezüglich Fremdsprachen im Allgemeinen und Deutsch im Speziellen beachten. Dabei wird die Rolle der japanischen Bildungs-, Sprach- und Kulturpolitik sowie das Thema der Migration und dem Zweitspracherwerb berücksichtigt. Alle gefundenen Erkenntnisse werden mit in Wien geführten qualitativen Befragungen trianguliert und somit der Umgang von Deutsch als Zweitsprache in Wien erschlossen. ; This master thesis examines the importance of foreign and second language acquisition of persons which declare Japanese as their mother tongue (resp. first language). In doing so, an online and literature research has been done to search for publications which specifically considers the learning behavior of the mentioned group of people in and outside of Japan with regard to foreign languages in general and German in particular. The role of Japanese education, language and cultural policy as well as the topic of migration and second language acquisition are taken into account. All findings are triangulated with qualitative surveys conducted in Vienna, which examines the way in which German is treated as a second language in Vienna.
