Heterogenität und Alterität in der pädagogischen Praxis: Zur Rekonstruktion a-theoretischen Wissens in den Differenzerfahrungen von Lehrpersonen

Abstract: Heterogenität und Alterität bezeichnen unterschiedliche Modi der Konstruktion von Differenz: Während "Heterogenität" die Verschiedenheit zwischen Personen in Bezug auf ein Vergleichskriterium meint, wird unter "Alterität" die bleibende "Andersheit des Anderen" jenseits kategorialer Vergleiche verstanden. Der vorliegende Beitrag greift das Verhältnis zwischen Heterogenität und Alterität in der pädagogischen Praxis auf und versucht aufzuzeigen, unter welchen methodologischen Gesichtspunkten dieses empirisch erfasst werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine Gruppendiskussion mit vier Lehrkräften einer österreichischen Neuen Mittelschule zur sprachlichen Heterogenität von Schüler/inne/n durchgeführt und anschließend mit der Dokumentarischen Methode ausgewertet. Die rekonstruktiven Analysen zeigen dabei auf, dass beide Phänomene der Differenzkonstruktion parallel koexistieren und mit der innerhalb der Sozialstruktur des Unterrichts erfolgenden Konstituierung eines pädagogisch-didaktischen Raums verbunden sind. ; Heterogeneity and alterity each refer to different modes of construcing difference: while the term 'heterogeneity' deals with the difference of one or more person(s) that is deducted by comparison with an external criterion, alterity focuses the uniqueness of the individual that can not be described by categorical discrimination. This article discusses the relationship between heterogeneity and alterity in educational practice and tries to outline the methodological aspects under which this relationship can be investigated empirically. For this purpose, a group discussion with four secondary teachers of an Austrian 'Neue Mittelschule' concerning the linguistic heterogeneity of their pupils was conducted, using the Documentary Method. The reconstructive analyses show, that both phenomena of constructing difference co-exist simultaneously. Furthermore, a strong connection between these modes and the constitution of the pedagogical setting could be described.
