Abstract:
International audience ; Discourse analysis can be performed at different levels. In this study, we analyze the interactions between syntactic, informational and discourse structures in the construction of a type of discourse called “static spatial description”. We compare these interactions in two languages, Chinese and French. Our work comes within the scope of the psycholinguistic approach of Levelt’s (1989) model of language production and raises the question of a possible influence of the language structure in which the speaker expresses himself on the organization and conceptualization of the message to convey in the case of a complex communicative task. The procedure used consists of the analysis of an oral corpus collected from the description of an image (representing a city center consisting of a square, streets and buildings). The informants are divided into two groups of 18 speakers each: a group of Chinese native speakers and a group of French native speakers. For the corpus analysis, we adopted the Quaestio discourse analysis model (Klein & von Stutterheim, 1991) as well as models allowing us to describe the concept of static spatial localization (Klein, 1986; Talmy, 2000; Vandeloise, 1986). The results show that the linguistic means used to encode the locative expression (nominal, prepositional or adverbial phrase) and the syntactic functions it assumes (subject or circumstantial) in Chinese and French impact the presence and place of this expression in the syntactic structure of the utterance. Furthermore, those syntactic structures themselves in turn influence the way in which the informational content develops between the utterances of the speech. ; Une analyse de discours peut être réalisée à différents niveaux. Nous analysons ici les interactions qui existent entre les structures phrastiques, informationnelles et discursives dans la construction d’un type de discours dit de « description spatiale statique ». Nous comparons ces interactions dans deux langues, le chinois et le français. Notre travail s’inscrit dans l’approche psycholinguistique du modèle de production langagière de Levelt (1989) et pose la question d’une influence possible de la structure de la langue dans laquelle s’exprime le locuteur sur l’organisation et la conceptualisation du message à transmettre dans le cas d’une tâche communicative complexe. La procédure utilisée consiste en l’analyse d’un corpus oral recueilli à partir de la description d’une image (représentant un centre-ville constitué d’une place, de rues et de bâtiments). Les informateurs se divisent en deux groupes de 18 locuteurs chacun : un groupe de sinophones et un groupe de francophones. Les analyses s’appuient sur le modèle d’analyse de discours de la Quaestio (Klein & von Stutterheim 1991) ainsi que sur des modèles permettant de décrire la notion de localisation statique (Klein 1986, Talmy 2000, Vandeloise 1986). Les résultats montrent que les moyens linguistiques utilisés pour encoder l’expression locative (syntagme nominal, syntagme prépositionnel ou adverbe) et les fonctions syntaxiques qu’elle assume (sujet ou circonstancielle) en chinois et en français possèdent une influence sur sa présence et sa place dans la phrase. En outre, ces deux caractéristiques influencent elles-mêmes à leur tour la façon dont le contenu informationnel se développe entre les énoncés du discours. ; 本研究分析了中法文“静态空间描述”在句法、信息和语篇结构之间存在的相互作用。文章以Levelt（1989）的话语生成模型为研究视角，探讨在完成复杂的语言任务时，语言结构对概念化编码和篇章结构所产生的影响。为此本文收集了中法两种口语语料，被试分为中文母语和法文母语的使用者，两组被试人数均为18名。所收集的数据以Quaestio语篇分析模型（Klein & Stutterheim，1991）以及空间静态位置的模型（Klein，1986；Talmy，2000；Vandeloise，1986）进行分析。语料收集使用的测试材料为一张由广场、街道和建筑物组成的街景图片。研究结果表明，中文和法文被试所使用的句法结构均为存在句，但句中空间短语的结构类别与语法功能都有所不同：中文语料当中多以名词性主语的形式出现，其特点是出现频率高、句法位置固定（作为主题均处于句首）；而法文语料当中则多以介词和副词性附加语的形式出现，出现频率则相对较低、句法位置更灵活（可出现在句中或句末）。此差异在语篇层面上造成两组被试之间主位推进模式的不同：中文组使用简单线性主位推进模式，而法文组较多采用主位同一推进模式。由此可以看出语言形式对语篇发展性和连贯性的影响。
