Abstract: Morphological skills are integral to the development of literacy. Educators and speech-language pathologists (SLP) share the responsibility for effective early reading instruction. The combined expertise of the SLP and educator in the classroom is ideal for producing desired language and literacy outcomes for students with and without language and literacy deficits, suggesting SLP-educator collaboration may be an essential ingredient for morphological interventions implemented in a classroom setting.
