Abstract:
El objetivo del presente análisis es abordar las relaciones de sucesos como instrumento de control en la Monarquía Hispánica (siglo XVII) desde una perspectiva discursiva, centrada en la valoración a través del léxico, todavía escasa en los estudios realizados sobre estos documentos. A lo largo de las siguientes páginas se llevará a cabo la caracterización léxica de cuatro relaciones de sucesos sobre diferentes conductas pecaminosas de mujeres en el siglo XVII con el fin de caracterizar la figura de la mujer, el antimodelo de conducta, en contraposición con el hombre. El análisis realizado pondrá de relieve la importancia de las relaciones de sucesos como instrumento de control social y moral ejercido desde los estratos más elevados hasta los más humildes de la sociedad áurea por medio de la narración de historias sensacionalistas que favorecerán, a su vez, el auge del negocio de la imprenta en los albores del periodismo en España. ; The aim of this analysis is to study the news pamphlets as a control instrument in the Spanish Monarchy from a discursive perspective, focused on appraisal by means of the lexicon study, which is still quite limited in the works carried out about these documents. The linguistic characteri-zation of four pamphlets about different women sinful behavior in 17th Century Spain will be carried out on the following pages in order to portray women ―the antithesis of good conduct― in contrast to men. This analysis will highlight the importance of the news pamphlets as an instrument of social and moral oversight from the highest to the humblest strata of society during the Golden Age. It is throughout the narration of tabloid stories that the printing business would be enhanced at the dawn of journalism in Spain.
