Tutor: Manuel Pavón-Belizón. ; El presente trabajo analiza el tratamiento de los culturemas en textos literarios con especial atención a la manera en que distintas traductoras afrontan su práctica como tales. Para ello, revisamos algunos modelos analíticos y los adaptamos a nuestro combinación lingüística para un mejor aprovechamiento. Una vez recopilados los datos empíricos, pasamos a examinar, con un enfoque sociológico, las distintas maneras de proceder que se reflejan en la adopción de las técnicas, para después razonar sobre ellas, basándonos principalmente en la teoría de los campos de Bourdieu —especialmente el concepto de habitus—, las diferentes concepciones del trasvase lingüístico de cada traductor y las informaciones recogidas de las entrevistas. Nuestro corpus consiste en dos novelas cortas de Eileen Chang (Diyi lu xiang y Jinsuo ji), una traducción al inglés y otra al español, así como una autotraducción inglesa. ; This paper analyses the treatment of culturemas in literary texts, with special attention paied to the different approaches adopted by the translators in their practice. To this end, we will review some analytical models and adapt them to the realities of our language combination. Once the empirical data have been collected, we move on to examine, from a sociological perspective, various ways of proceeding that are reflected in the employment of translation techniques. Then, we will explain these decisions based mainly on Bourdieu's field theory —especially the concept of habitus—, different translators’ conceptions of linguistic transfer, and the information gathered from the interviews. Our corpus consists of two short stories written by Eileen Chang (“Diyi Lu Xiang” and “Jinsuo Ji”), one translation into English and another into Spanish, as well as one piece of Chang’s English self-translation.
