Abstract:
Die Forschungen über die sprachliche Interferenz der Muttersprache auf die Zielsprache sind in den letzten Jahren in der Angewandten Linguistik und damit verbundenen Bereichen immer relevanter geworden. In diesem Zusammenhang spielt die Theorie von Selinker (1972) eine wichtige Rolle. Diese geht davon aus, dass die Lerner einer Fremdsprache in der Regel beim Erlernen der Fremdsprache von der Muttersprache beeinflusst werden: die Lerner übertragen die sprachlichen Strukturen der Muttersprache auf äquivalente Strukturen der Fremdsprache. Zahlreiche Studien bestätigen in ihren Ergebnissen diese Theorie; allerdings gibt es sehr wenige Forschungsarbeiten, die komparative Studien zwischen Portugiesisch und Deutsch zum Inhalt haben. Eine Vertiefung der empirischen und kontrastiven Analyse bezüglich diesen beiden Sprachen ist daher notwendig. In der vorliegenden Arbeit erfolgte eine Analyse der Fehler einer deutschmuttersprachlichen Gruppe von 20 Kandidaten des Celpe-Bras (Certificado de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros; Dt. Zertifikat für die Profizienz des Portugiesisch als Fremdsprache). Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf die kontrastive Analyse der Fehler auf Grund der Interferenz der deutschen Sprache gelegt. Zu diesem Zweck wurde ein Fehlerkorpus erstellt, um eine Analyse der Fehlerhäufigkeit durchführen zu können. Diese wurden in folgende Kategorien unterteilt: Rechtschreibung, Zeichensetzung, Wortarten, Syntax und Lexik. Abgesehen von den signifikanten Interferenzen der deutschen Sprache, die ca. ein Drittel der klassifizierten Fehler ausmacht, stellte sich heraus, dass auch andere Sprachen eine zentrale Rolle bei der Textproduktion der Lerner, welche Portugiesisch als Fremdsprache lernen, eingenommen hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die spanische Sprache, die dem Portugiesisch typologisch nah ist, und somit als die zweitgrößte Interferenzquelle in den analysierten geschriebenen Texten gilt. In diesem Zusammenhang zeigen die Ergebnisse aus der Kontrastiven- und der Fehleranalyse, dass die muttersprachlichen Interferenzen des Deutschen nicht die größte Interferenzquelle sind. Die Untersuchung der Sprachfehler und ihre Häufigkeit erlauben eine Visualisierung der größten Schwierigkeiten, die die gewählte Gruppe beim Erlernen der Zielsprache zeigt. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es somit, einen Beitrag zur Verbesserung des Erlernens der portugiesischen Sprache als Fremdsprache zu leisten, insbesondere indem die Schwierigkeiten in der Sprachproduktion von Sprachlerner mit deutscher Muttersprache und die Besonderheiten der Sprache, die die gewählte Gruppe entwickelt aufgezeigt werden. ; The research about the linguistic interferences on the mother tongue has become very relevant in recent years in the area of Applied Linguistics and related areas. In this context, the renowned theory of Selinker (1972) describes the influence that the mother tongue has in learning a foreign language. This process can be observed regarding the linguistic features of the transfers into the target language made by a foreign language learner. Several researches have been showing results that corroborate this theory; nevertheless, it can be noted that there are very few researches in this field of studies regarding the relation between portuguese and german and that it is necessary to deepen the contrastive and empirical analysis. This doctoral thesis proposes an analysis of the errors made by a group of 20 german mother tongue candidates, who took the Celpe-Bras exam (Certificado de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros. Engl. Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese as Foreign Language), showcasing the errors from a constrastive perspective made due to the interference of the mother tongue. A corpus of errors was constituted in order to make an analysis of the occurences of the different error categories, namely orthography, punctuation, morphological category, syntax and lexis. Apart from the significant interferences of the German language, which correspond to approximately one third of the errors identified, it was verified that Spanish, a typologically close language to Portuguese, is considered the second highest source of errors of interlinguistic interference in the analysis of the written production of portuguese as foreign language. In this context, the results from Error Analysis and Contrastive Analysis show that the interferences from the mother tongue (German) are not the main cause of errors. The analysis of the errors and their occurrences enables us to showcase the main areas of difficulty that the learners have in the written production of the target language. Aditionally, the results of this study shall contribute to the improvement of teaching Portuguese as foreign language in the sense that they reveal the difficulties found, with more or less frequency, in the linguistic production of native German speakers as well as the features of this language developed by this specific group of learners.
