In this model, the automation of individual terminology work tasks is rendered as a set of interoperable cloud-based services integrated into workflows. These services automate the identification of term candidates in user documents, and the lookup of translation equivalents in online terminology resources and on the Web by automatically extracting multilingual terminology from comparable and parallel online resources. Collaborative involvement of users contributes to the refinement and enrichment of the raw terminological data. Finally, we present the TaaS platform, which implements this servicebased model, particularly focusing on the processing of Web content.
