Manav Utsav (Human Festival)
Indrani Lahiri (8445576). - 2020
Abstract: This is a research initiative during the pandemic. The aim of Manav Utsav, digital festival to build community resilience, is to work with South-Asian communities, exploring the potential for maintaining good mental health through digital sociality. We are celebrating the South Asian Heritage month for the first time in Leicester, bringing communities together to participate in various creative capacities in July 2020. We are partnering with An Indian Summer, Sangeet Foundation, Elixir, Celebrate our similarities and Children in times of Corona. The digital festival runs throughout the month of July, every Fridays and Saturdays.
