Abstract:
В статье проанализированы этапы формирования и становления политики мультикультурности Канады. Рассмотрены ее основные принципы, сущность и значение. Делается вывод о том, что данная политика направлена на поддержку разноязычной прессы, деятельности культурных сообществ, фольклорных фестивалей. Выявлено, что в рамках политики мультикультурности было реализовано множество программ, которые способствовали сохранению родного языка, традиций и культуры этнических групп. ; In the article the stages of the formation of the policy of multiculturalism in Canada are analyzed. Its basic principles, essence and significance are considered. The conclusion that this policy is aimed at supporting multilingual media, the activity of cultural communities, folk festivals is made. It is revealed that within the framework of the policy of multiculturalism a lot of programs that contributed to the preservation of the native language, traditions and culture of the ethnic groups were realized.
