Nel segno di Audre Lorde; 108 - 116 ; 1827-5133 (2019) Abstract: Il saggio analizza la relazione tra potere, linguaggio e corpo, mettendo in connessione il pensiero di Lorde e quello di Butler, soffermandosi in particolare sulla nozione di risignificazione come strategia di resistenza alla violenza linguistica. Mentre in Butler questa resistenza ha a che fare con il cambio di significato delle parole determinate dal loro trasporto all’interno di un contesto diverso, in Lorde questa resistenza ha invece a che fare con un diverso uso del linguaggio, che fa riferimento al suono, allo stile, al legame della parola con il corpo, il quale non è mai un corpo in generale, ma sempre un corpo singolare al confine tra molte identità.This paper analyses the relation between power, language and body, connecting Lorde and Butler’s thoughts. In particular, the paper dwells on the notion of resignification a strategy of resistance to linguistic violence. While in Butler this resistance is enacted by an operation of decontextualization which changes the meaning of the words, in Lorde this resistance has rather to do with a different use of the language which is connected with the sound and with the style. In this sense, the resistance in Lorde is always enacted by a singular body in transition between identities.
