融合英語童謠教學在國小二年級學生的音韻覺識及學習動機上的行動研究 ; An Action Research of English Nursery Rhymes Instruction on Phonological Awareness and Learning Motivation among Elementary Second Grade Students
Abstract: 本研究旨在探討融合英語童謠教學於國小二年級學童音韻覺識及學習動機上之學習成效,及教師在教學中之歷程省思與專業成長。本研究採行動研究法,以研究者任教之國小二年級四位學生為研究對象。學生接受了八週的英語童謠,每週40分鐘。研究過程中,研究者對「課堂觀察」、「學習動機問卷」、「訪談」和「教學省思」進行資料收集與分析,以作為研究探討之依據。此外,為了比較動機問卷與音韻覺識前後測,研究者將量化資料以相依樣本t考驗進行分析,並將蒐集來的質性資料加以整理、分析與歸納,作為研究結果之補充。 本研究得到的結論如下:1. 英語童謠教學能提升國小二年級學生的音韻覺識表現。2. 英語童謠教學有助於提升國小二年級學生的學習動機。3. 實施英語童謠教學活動有助於研究者在教學歷程中的省思與專業成長。 ; The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of English nursery rhymes instruction on phonological awareness and learning motivation among second graders through the course of action research. Four second graders in an elementary school in southern Taiwan were recruited as the participants and were given English nursery rhymes instruction for eight weeks, 40 minutes each week. This study involved a mixed-methods approach. Classroom observations, interview data, and teaching reflection were transcribed and qualitatively analyzed. In addition, to compare the pretest and posttest for the motivation questionnaire and the phonological awareness test, paired-samples T-test methods were used for collation, analysis and induction as a supplement to the research results. The conclusions of the study are summarized as follows:1. The English nursery rhymes instruction had a positive effect on developing the phonological awareness of elementary school second graders.2. There were significant differences in the learning motivation among the students before and after the English nursery rhymes instruction, particularly in regard to extrinsic motivation.3. The implementation of the study contributed the researcher’s further professional improvement
