El programa de movilidad Erasmus y su impacto en la formación intercultural de los futuros docentes de Educación Infantil y Primaria
Abstract: La creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior es una respuesta al carácter global y multicultural de la sociedad en que vivimos. El Proceso de Bolonia ha impulsado los programas de movilidad como un instrumento clave para promover la dimensión europea de la educación superior, el respeto a la diversidad cultural y la construcción de una identidad europea común y cívica. El Programa Erasmus de movilidad es, precisamente, una de las iniciativas generadas para contribuir a este propósito. Su contribución a la formación de los futuros docentes ha sido señalada por numerosos autores, pero pocas veces explorada en trabajos de campo. En esta investigación hemos querido estudiar el impacto de los programas de movilidad Erasmus en la formación intercultural de los futuros docentes de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Granada. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa, en la que han sido entrevistados dieciséis estudiantes de los Grados de Educación Infantil y Primaria que han realizado estancias en el extranjero durante su formación inicial. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que este tipo de experiencias de inmersión tienen un interesante potencial formativo para el desarrollo personal y profesional de los futuros docentes que habrán de desenvolverse en contextos multiculturales. ; The creation of the European Higher Education Area is a response to the global and multicultural character of the society in which we live. The Bologna Process has identified mobility programs as a key instrument for promoting the European dimension of higher education, the respect to cultural diversity and for the construction of a common European identity and citizenship. The Erasmus mobility program is precisely one of the initiatives generated to contribute to this purpose. Its contribution to the training of future teachers has been noted by many authors, but rarely explored in fieldwork. In this research project, we wanted to study the impact of Erasmus mobility programs in the intercultural training of future teachers studying a degree in either Infant or Primary Education at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the University of Granada. This is a qualitative research, in which sixteen students of the degrees in Infant and Primary Education, who have studied abroad during their initial training, have been interviewed. The results show that these types of immersive experiences have an interesting educational potential for the personal and professional development of future teachers who will have to teach and cope in multicultural contexts. ; Universidad de Granada.
