Επιπλέον, μέσω της πολυτροπικότητας, επιδιώκεται να δοθεί βαρύτητα στην επικοινωνιακή και λειτουργική διάσταση της γλώσσας, με στόχο την εξοικείωση των μαθητών/τριών με αυτήν. Συνιστά μελέτη περίπτωσης με στοιχεία έρευνας δράσης, για τις ανάγκες της οποίας, σχεδιάστηκε και υλοποιήθηκε διδακτική παρέμβαση σε μια Τάξη Υποδοχής ενός Δημοτικού Σχολείου της Ανατολικής Θεσσαλονίκης. Η τάξη αποτελείται από εννέα (9) μαθήτριες πρόσφυγες, οι οποίες μιλούν ελάχιστα ή καθόλου την ελληνική γλώσσα. Για τη συλλογή δεδομένων αξιοποιήθηκε η ημιδομημένη ανοιχτή συνέντευξη, με στόχο τη σκιαγράφηση του δημογραφικού/βιογραφικού προφίλ των μαθητριών. Επιπλέον, αξιοποιήθηκε η παρατήρηση από την ίδια την εκπαιδευτικό της τάξης, η τήρηση ... : The aim of this research is to investigate the ways in which the didactic use of multimodal means contributes to the cultivation of critical literacy in refugee students, but also to their smooth integration into the school community and the wider social context. In addition, through multimodality, the aim is to give importance to the communicative and functional dimension of the language, with the aim of acquainting students with it. It is a case study with action research data, for the needs of which, a didactic intervention was designed and implemented in a Reception Class of a Primary School of Eastern Thessaloniki. The class consists of nine (9) refugee students, who speak little or no Greek language. The semi-structured open-ended interview was used for data collection, with the aim of outlining the demographic / biographical profile of the students.
