The Big Australian SpeechCorpus (the Big ASC) will provide a standard recording setupand a collaboratively-designed elicitation protocol to create acorpus of AV speech data incorporating annotations andmetadata, accessible via a centralised storage facility. The BigASC infrastructure will provide a significant boost to researchin speech science and human communication in Australia.
