Abstract: A and B. Structural MRI of A.'s (23 y.o. woman with post-stroke aphasia) brain, depicting the lesion in sagittal, coronal and axial planes (top, A). Deterministic tractography (in vivo) of language-relevant tracts and corpus callosum in A. (bottom, A) and control (B). A' and B'. Four major subdivisions of the corpus callosum: genu, midbody (anterior and posterior), isthmus and splenium in A. (A') and in control (B'). Axial slices of the subdivisions are depicted in the superior (i.e., from the top of the head, left) and inferior view (i.e., from the bottom, right).
