Abstract:
Este artículo trata con problemas que resultan de la comunicación de los resultados de investigación en las ciencias sociales. Hay diferentes modos de dar retroalimentación a los "sujetos"/"objetos" de la investigación etnográfica. ¿Cómo reciben las re/presentaciones de ellos mismos en los reportes científicos? ¿Cómo reaccionan al leer los textos que resultan de los estudios etnográficos y como replican? Una constelación típica de perspectivas entre las dos partes en la investigación es ésta: Los investigadores se acercan a un objeto de su estudio con una actidud de curiosidad sin caer bajo las mismas restricciones contextuales de tener que actuar, características del campo que investigan. Los sujetos/objetos, en cambio, tienen ciertas obligaciones prácticas en su mundo cotidiano: ellos están personalmente comprometidos con el medio social y sus actores y, por consiguiente, son "sensibles". Presento algunas de las reacciones de protección que he observado en los participantes de las investigaciones cuando se encuentran descritos en los textos científicos (ponencias, artículos) durante conferencias con una audiencia "mixta" (participantes desde la ciencia y la práctica). En estos escenarios discursivos, mostraron "reacciones" y estrategias al responder a re/presentaciones que no les gustaban. Esbozo diferentes modos de entender las interacciones entre investigador e investigados. Algunas veces se entiende la presentación de factores contextuales y condiciones de fondo características del campo como un caso de "echarse en cara los trapos sucios": en consecuencia la representación es rechazada. En cambio, en sus reportes de investigación, los investigadores "reaccionan" – algunas veces a modo de "venganza". Discuto la forma en que los investigadores pudieran tratar productivamente con las relaciones y perspectivas contradictorias y conflictivas que pueden surgir entre investigadores e investigados. ; This paper addresses science communication problems: How do researchers convey social science representations and findings to the researched? How are the latter described in research reports? How do they react when they read or hear such reports and when they subsequently engage in discourse with researchers? Typically, social science researchers approach a field site with an attitude of curiosity that is unburdened by an immediate pressure to act. The field inhabitants, by contrast, are subject to the practical constraints of these everyday worlds; they identify personally with their milieu and its protagonists, and they are correspondingly sensitive. The present paper describes their defensive reactions, taking as an example the reception of a research project presented at conferences attended by a mixed audience. It highlights the reactions and strategies displayed by the researched in the contexts of discourse and meaning negotiation in response to unwelcome representations. And it offers several interpretations of the interactions between the researchers and the researched. Field members may oppose the revelation of contextual and causal factors construing it as "washing dirty laundry in public". Researchers react to this in their textual representations, and their reactions may take the form of score-settling. The present paper asks how such contradictory, conflict-laden constellations and perspectives in the discourse between the observers and the observed can be productively dealt with. ; In diesem Beitrag geht es um Probleme der Wissenschaftskommunikation: Wie werden sozialwissenschaftliche Beschreibungen und Erkenntnisse zwischen Forschenden und Beforschten (rück-) vermittelt? Wie werden Beforschte in Forschungsberichten beschrieben, und wie reagieren sie darauf, wenn sie solche Berichte lesen bzw. hören und sich in einem entsprechenden Diskurs zu Wort melden? Eine charakteristische Sichtweisenkonstellation zwischen den beiden Parteien sieht so aus: Sozialwissenschaftlich Forschende nähern sich ihrem Forschungsgegenstand mit einer handlungsentlasteten Neugierhaltung – die Beforschten stehen in den beschriebenen Alltagswelten unter Praxiszwängen, und sie sind persönlich (mit ihrem Milieu und den Protagonist/innen) identifiziert und entsprechend "empfindlich". Am Beispiel eines Forschungsprojekts und dessen Präsentation auf publikumsgemischten Tagungen werden die abwehrenden Reaktionen sozialwissenschaftlich Beschriebener vorgestellt. Sie legen Reaktionen und Strategien an den Tag, mit denen sie auf "unliebsame" Beschreibungen im Diskurs- und Aushandlungszusammenhang antworten. Es werden verschiedene Lesarten der Interaktionen zwischen Forschenden und Beforschten skizziert. Der Versuch des "Zeigens von Bedingungshintergründen" im Untersuchungsfeld wird dort u.U. als Form von "Nestbeschmutzung" aufgefasst und abgelehnt; darauf "reagieren" die Forschenden im wissenschaftlichen Text, u.U. auch in Form von "Abrechnung". Es wird die Frage aufgeworfen, wie mit derartigen widersprüchlich-konflikthaften Konstellationen und Sichtweisen im Diskurs zwischen Beteiligten und Beobachter/innen produktiv umgegangen werden kann.
