屏東縣小型國小實施九年一貫課程之現況調查

Abstract: 國民教育研究所 ; 九年一貫課程自九十學年度起分階段開始實施,面對教育界歷年來最大的一次課程改革,本研究試以屏東縣小型國民小學教師及學生家長為研究對象,瞭解其對九年一貫課程實施一年後的意見,並探討課程改革的相關問題。 本研究的目的為:一、調查小型國民小學實施九年一貫課程的現況。二、探討不同區域的小型國小在實施九年一貫課程上的差異情形。三、探討不同背景的小型國小教師對於課程實施現況意見的差異情形。四、探討家長對於九年一貫課程的認知與參與情形。五、根據研究結果,提供建議以落實九年一貫課程推展的成效。 本研究是以屏東縣九班以下的小型國民小學教師,以及學生家長為研究對象,採用問卷調查法及開放性問題調查,以獲得研究所需之資料,問卷題目為研究者自編,分別為:一、「屏東縣小型國小實施九年一貫課程之現況調查問卷」:本問卷以國小教師的背景條件對九年一貫課程的意見為變項,背景變項包括性別、服務年資、現任職務、任教學區、專業教育背景和是否擔任九年一貫課程等六項,全查70所小型國小,總計798名教師。二、「屏東縣小型國小實施九年一貫課程家長參與之現況調查問卷」,樣本數為350位學生家長。所得資料經整理後,以次數分配和卡方考驗(Chi-square test)等統計方法分析資料。 本研究主要的結論如下: 一、絕大多數屏東縣小型國小教師,均能認同學校在課程規畫與課程領導上的做法。 二、大多數的屏東縣小型國小教師,對於學校本位課程的實施方式,均持同意的意見。 三、多數的屏東縣小型國小教師,對於學校在教師進修與教學專業成效的推動上,持同意的看法。 四、大多數的屏東縣小型國小教師,對於學校要求課程統整與六大議題融入教學的做法,均表同意。 五、小型國小教師對於學校在研擬課程配套措施方面的意見有兩極的看法。在課程規劃和教科書的選用上,有九成以上的滿意度;在課程銜接方面,只有五、六成的滿意度。 六、屏東縣小型國小教師認為,在一般性的家長會、親師會方面,能有較多數的家長參與;而在課程參與和支援教學活動方面,只有四、五成的家長參與。 七、家長認為,在一般性的家長會、親師會活動方面,能有較多數的家長參與;而在課程參與和支援教學活動方面,只有四、五成的家長參與。 八、位於不同地區的小型國小教師,對於九年一貫課程,在課程小組的運作、協同教學、實施鄉土語言教學、教師創新研發教學和家長參與活動、支援教學等方面,均有顯著的意見差異。 最後依據研究結論,分別針對教育行政機關、學校行政體系和國小教師,以及未來後續研究等方面提出具體建議。 ; The Grade 1-9 Curriculum has been executed since 2001 and therefore causes a tremendous impact in the history of education in Taiwan Hence this research is designed to understand the opinions of teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung as well as those of the students'''''''' parents It also tries to probe into the consequential issues pertaining to the curriculum reform This very study served the following purposes: 1 To explore the state of affairs of executing the Grade 1-9 Curriculum in elementary schools 2 To understand the divergence of executing the Grade 1-9 Curriculum among schools of different areas 3 To probe into the divergence among opinions of the elementary school teachers with different background 4 To survey parents'''''''' understanding of the curriculum and their participation in it 5 To provide validated suggestions based on the research outcome in order to enhance the effect of curriculum execution The subjects of this study are teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping tung and their students'''''''' parents The research tools used to acquire necessary information are questionnaires with multiple-choice and open questions The researcher of this study designs two forms of questionnaires One of the questionnaires is "The opinion survey questionnaire on Grade 1-9 for teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung " The six variables used to gather the respondents'''''''' background information include gender length of teaching experience job title region of service professional education history and whether-or-not participating in the Grade 1-9 Curriculum 798 teachers from 70 small-scaled elementary schools responded the questionnaire The other one is "The questionnaire on parents'''''''' participation in the Grade 1-9 Curriculum in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung " 350 copies of the questionnaire are full-filled by students'''''''' parents All acquired data were analyzed with statistical methodologies including histograms and Chi-squire test The results of this study indicate that: 1 The majority of the teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung show their approving attitude toward the schools'''''''' curriculum scheme and practice of curriculum leading 2 The majority of the teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung show their approving attitude toward the practice of school-based curriculum in the Grade 1-9 Curriculum 3 Most of the teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung support the way the schools promote teachers'''''''' further in-job education and teaching professional proficiency 4 Most of the teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung assent to curriculum integration and fusion of the six issues into the curriculum 5 More than ninety percent of the teachers in small-scaled elementary schools display satisfaction toward the curriculum scheme and the textbook selection However only fifty percent show their satisfaction about the curriculum connection 6 The teachers in small-scaled elementary schools in Ping-tung are of the opinion that most of the students'''''''' parents are more willing to participate in Parent-teacher Association than in course programs or school teaching activities 7 The students'''''''' parents agree that they are more willing to participate in Parent-teacher Association than in course programs or school teaching activities 8 Teachers in small-scaled elementary schools of different regions show a statistically significant diversity of opinions on the operation of committee of curriculum team teaching dialect classes teachers'''''''' creative teaching and parents'''''''' participation in school activities Finally according to the results of this study some valid suggestions are made for further research as well as for governmental educational administrations school administrations and current elementary school teachers
